Hi girls,

It has been a while since i have posted on here.( im naughty)
As some of you might know i blew my first engine up (parts failure).
To my amazement the engine builder did warrent it , so he built?? us another engine.
After many runs and thousands of $$$$ ( bigger fuel pump, got gearbox checked, split convertor to make sure it was right etc etc).
Got real sick of spending $$$$ chasing the problem as to why it was not doing the times & being a dog.
We decided to spend more money to get the engine pulled down to see what the problem was.

Shocked is not the word , we were trying to run in the 10's ( i have a super sedan) with a 500hp boat engine that ran 702 hp on the dyno at the engine builders shop.We have later learned that it should have been running on pump fuel due to the 10.1 compression .( we run avgas).


Any way im not the first person to be taken for a ride i just feel sorry for other people.
We now have given the task of builing us a new engine to Colin Lloyd .We had to borrow against the house again ( not happy) but i love drag racing so what is one to do?


Cant wait to hit the track again it's been too long. I know this time out i will have no trouble qualifying

Ordered new set of AFR HEADS from the states yesterday, they wont be in till the end of the month.
Colin has ordered new custom cp gas potered pistons from the states yesterday aswell, they take 6 weeks.

im hoping to get a test in by christmas. Gonna be tight i think but im hoping.

Im just really keen to get back on that track.

you must be missing it. Terri put a post on the forum about the t 'n' t on the weekend - you were there but not racing.

We have decided to go all out , we are still so angry with former engine builder.
Colin Lloyd is good he keeps in touch a once a week just to let us know where he is at.

We have decided to go with
235CC AFR heads, colin will play with them a little bit.
AED 1050 carb
Super victor manifold
Custum cp gas ported pistons
jessel rockers
vacuum pump
not sure on cam specs ,but colin says it has huge lift
Afew other little goodies

It just costs so much but we have found that by buying everything in the states is cheaper than buying here(how silly is that)


So with Christmas on our door step we decided not to rush things .Januarary is the go

January's not far away just hope it's not as hot as it is now
